Job Description: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full-time Dentist, working 40 hours per week. Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, restorative needs, root canals, and surgical extractions: Utilize your expertise to evaluate patients' dental health, identify issues, and perform necessary procedures to address their oral health needs.
  • Educate patients on maintaining proper oral health: Offer guidance and advice to patients on effective oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices to ensure long-term dental health.
  • Communicate with dental staff regarding patient treatment plans: Collaborate with a team of dental professionals, including hygienists and assistants, to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Prescribe medications as necessary: Provide prescriptions for antibiotics, pain relievers, and other medications as needed to support patients' recovery and overall oral health.
  • Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments, and consultations using electronic health records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all patient interactions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and facilitating continuity of care.
  • Oversee the work of professional, technical, and administrative staff: Supervise and mentor a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and ensuring that all staff members adhere to best practices and clinic protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure in Ohio
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed dentist in practice is preferred, however individuals will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
  • Exceptional dental, communication/public speaking, computer and customer service skills.
