POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Dental Director, this position is responsible for maintaining the dental clinic at the NHBP Health and Human Services Department. The incumbent is responsible to support the Dental Director with the operation of dental services offered at NHBP. As a key member of the NHBP Health and Human Services team, this position is responsible for collaborating with providers, management and dental team to provide the highest quality of patient care possible. This position will provide a program of primary (and in selected instances, secondary care) and preventive dental care. The General Dentist supervises the dental staff in their clinic and represents the dental staff to the Dental Director. The General Dentist provides dental advice and counsel to the Dental Director.
