As a hygienist in our office, you will play a vital role in helping us build lasting relationships with our young patients while delivering quality comfortable care.
The hygienist will be professional; patient oriented and have excellent communication skills with the following experiences:
- Taking digital diagnostic x-rays.
- Performing prophylaxis, applying fluoride treatment, placing sealants, and other treatments recommended by the dentist.
- Documenting clinical exam findings, charting, and entering existing and planned treatment.
- Educating patients and parents on treatment and home care.
- Preparing and maintaining hygiene rooms and equipment including cleaning and sterilizing hygiene instruments, setting up trays and cleaning hygiene rooms.
- Working professionally and cooperatively with management, co-workers, patients, and vendors.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Dentrix dental software skills a plus.
- Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy working with children and communicating with their parents.
